hey! I just saw the halo wars vid doc, The spartans can like jump 50 feet in the air to hijack a banshee. Makes me envious of how we couldnt do it in the other halo games.

When the heck is Halo 3: ODST going to come out.? I am building my ODST suit quickly yet efficiently but I want to know which month it comes out. Going to ask My Local Gamestop if they want me there to help with the game launch.

The month is not known but I'm guessing in September/October/November area. You can find the date when Bungie actually tells us when we can have our Recon.

Also, I'm getting the Limited Edition so I don't have to pay for the Mythic Map Pack and I get a pretty box! Waiting on the Demo to be released.

Epic. I just played the demo ... seriously everything I could have hoped for and more. The game is beautiful, simple and really deeply combat evolved. Its supper epic in so many ways. The game play is just ... completely Halo-ish. No Spartans in the demo though, but the cut scenes are great and let in on the story a bit deeper. If you haven't played it yet, drop what you are doing and download it.

Hey I hope there isn't already a thread on this, but I wanted to start one for people who have downloaded the Halo Wars demo. What do you think of it as a halo game? As a RTS game? Any comments in general about it.

I haven't downloaded it yet, but I'm about too. I won't play it until I have to take back Fable 2 that I rented. (By the way, anyone want to sell Fable 2 for cheap?)

it is AWSOME.

here is what you are alowed to do in the demo:
Play 2 campain misions.
Here, u get to go into that cave, that we all have seen on the trailer...
and, u can play infinite skirmish matches, where you can use all the units in the game.
You can play as UNCS ore Covenant in skirmish
If you play as covenant in skirmish, you can use the prophet of regret. He can use an orbital glassing cannon, for as long as he likes! XD
If you are UNCS, you can try out the spartans.
One thing, the AI on normal, is completly stupid... if you whant some real chalange, i think you must play person vs person

I was up for 2 AM Pacific to try and download the Demo right away. It didn't show up on the Marketplace for me for about an hour and wouldn't download until I decided to give up and sleep (4 AM Pacific). 10 and a half hours later, I can FINALLY DOWNLOAD! YAY!
