Ok finally I have finished every part I have. I am just waiting on belts and boots which Adam promises me they will be here today or tommarow. What a pain in the @** this has been. I got new levels of respect for you molding/casting types who are actually really good at it. Took me forever to get all the molding/casting things right and even still I am not happy with alot of the pieces I made.

Take a look, purple one is wife's, Green....er Oregano one is mine now my whole halloween hinges on Adam.

Bravo! The armor looks really good! I hope you get the boots and other stuff on time for halloween. Even if youdont thats still a totally wicked "costume" for halloween... just wear pink fluffy bunny bed slippers instead! (The Chief would ^^)

Oh yea, she got mad as H3ll at me last year, because I had the super cool Deep-eyes costume, and she went as a princess. Granted I sewed the dress up and such but that wasnt the same as being a large, hulking, armored thing that everyone stops to look at and take pictures of. So i promised her this year I would make her something with a geek coolness factor of 11. Plus she plays H3 so its a character she understands.

I hate it when people have ass kicking armor and say "I hate it!" :cautious: . if people don't want their armor I'm happy to take it. Just be lucky you have armor  . All I have is a pepakura hand done, and a pepakura forearm and helmet in progress.

I never said I hate it, I said I am not happy with some of the pieces I made. which means, they can be better. They will be better but not in time for Halloween. Now the legs your looking at in the photos started out life as a Low-def pep leg, I pepped it up, resined, bondo'd and then made clay detail peices I cast and attached then ended up casting the whole thing.

I have spent alot of my miniscule free time on this and more money then I care to mention, therefor I expect and demand perfection, that is just the military way. The fact that it has flaws, and I can visably see these flaws means it is not 100% to my expectations, but time does not permit a re-work that will come later. So hate no, unhappy with certain peices yes. Its important not to confuse the two isnt Mr. AI Blue Fox?

On a side note I started my project in early August, from your join date I am going to assume you started around Oct 13th, naturally you only have a few pieces done, because you didn't plan ahead. I have to plan ahead, I simply have no choice, every week I am in a new city and if I am lucky I can get home by a thursday usually friday, spend 2 or 3 nights staying up late trying to make a 31 Oct deadline before I have to get on a plane and go to some Military Base usually in the middle of nowhere which tends to kill your Armor making productivity. Next year plan ahead a little and you will not have to post a little sad face and say how you only got 3 pieces started and how terrible life is for you.

Welcome to the two suits or more club ^^. Looks like my living room... Well, plus I got the armory in there too. What weapons you guys weilding? Paint job looks great on both, grats. A lot of work goes into making those molded pieces fit .. Especially muckle pieces.

Cheers,
Kensai

Well, if you DID see my profile you would know I am turning 13 (officialy a teenager) on Nov. 12 and, for my birthday, I am getting a covanant plasma rifle (since it has great disign) and the reson i only have a few pieces done is because i spent time on a marine helmet just to find out it was WAY to big and was a complete waste  and i fear that my fore arm piece might be too small :cautious: so you atleast deserve good feedback and a  but incase you want to completely redo some pieces and don't want the olds I will take 'em :D

Ok, thats enough of that.

Looks very nice, especially considering the tight time constraints that you were facing. I hope you get the last pieces shipped in time. Are you finished painting them or do you plan on adding some weathering?
