Wondering What You Guys Think

hey guys, i'm a bit of a nerf nerd, lol and the other day i was looking at my Nerf recon... and then it hit me, without the barrel clipped on, the recon looks slightly similar to the SMG from halo (ok, so i also have a good imagination... so sue me lol)

i was just wondering if the recon would pose as a good model or base to work from for size (length and height kinda deal). i'm planning on carving the parts out of floral or carving foam, and having something to compare size with would be a huge help.

so what do you guys think ? i have attached a picture of me holding the recon without the barrel below, [attachment=7913icture.jpg]

haha thanks. but really the nerf gun itself would just be used as reference for proportions. the actual SMG will be made totally of carving foam and floral foam.
