ok after making my mark vi helm last night i realized id way rather make the mark v armor for my 1st armor...its my favorite....i couldnt find anything on anybody making the whole suit and wonder if it would be easier than the mark vi????

It has less detail, and the Pepakura is easier, but detailing it with Bondo will be hell.

Sanding is alot more annoying than a few fold and glues, too. Waaay more annoying.

I'm doing a Mark V right now. It was fairly easy and I finished most of it in a single day. I started to resin but I'm holding off till I can get some more (and some more money :p ). I'm hoping to add as much detail as humanly possible in the end.

ok thanx im going to the magical world of walmart today to get cardstock and mabye resin if they have it and plan to work non stop all day to at least get it all put together and mabye resined

I wonder if anyone has considered an HD full Mark V suit as a next project?

As for the OP, Mark V is definitely easier but because of its low detail, you need to be pretty good at bondo detailing work to give it justice.

Like an HD Suit from the first Halo. Or a full suit of the new permutation? Cause an original HD suit would be amazing if someone were to do it.

it depends, what toold do you ave? and what were you going to use for smoothing? bondo? anyway, good luck mark V is aswome armor!

Not to start and arguement or anything, but I wouldn't do the mark V because it has more components than the Halo 2 suit. But it's up to you.

...What? It has all of the same parts, except it's far less detail. 'More components' is a complete lie.

For people talking about HD Mark V, Halo 3 only has a Mark V helmet, and the Halo 1 armor is far too low detail to need attention over other armors.
