I'm finally feeling comfortable enough with my modeling and unfolding skills to start adding to the wealth of pdos that is the 405th.

Here is a simple top hat design for starters.

Along with a sliced version of a 40k chain sword meant to be assembled with pieces of 1/8 inch cardboard and a 1 inch wooden dowel for the handle.

I'll add screen caps of the unfolds for all future uploads as soon as I figure it out.

Hope these are deemed worthy.

If a mod sees this could they kindly move it to the pep forum.

Based on how it looks I would say no, but instead of cardboard I would suggest using paper backed foam baord you can get from the craft store to do it with other than that the Chaos Chainsword looks really good.

Styrene!

Foam board could work but I wouldn't use it personally. I'd go for something stronger. Styrene is a great lightweight, solid medium that comes in various sizes and widths. I reccomend trying to find some!

@Wtfmfkr - I LOVE the slicing concept. I don't know why more modelers don't just make those little details sliced!

Yeah I forgot to mention that the file is only half of the overall sword, so you'd need to duplicate it, if you were to use 1/4 inch material you would still need one layer of 1/8 inch for one of the pieces, I may re-edit the model so that it could all be in 1/4 inch if anyone would like that.

Its been a few days since I've uploaded anything, so now you can all enjoy a sliced 40k bolt pistol.

The mag is removable and the the release switch is designed to appear functional.

Again, I hope you all enjoy.

Also, if anyone has some very detailed pics of the tau weaponry I'll start to make slice files of those as well.

Would need a nearly square view of each face on the weapon though.
