Xbox Hard Drive Problem

Hi today is a sad day my xbox just got the E 68 error (its when the hardd rive dosent work) dose anyone else have this problem? dose anyone know how to fix it?

You could probably extract the SATA drive from the HDD and backup all of your files, but the best idea would be to send it to Microsoft. You'll lose your gamesaves, but keep any Xbox LIVE Gamertags and their Gamerscore when you get your HDD back.

Any non-LIVE accounts will disappear, along with their Gamerscores.

what is the SATA? i know i will loose all my data but all my profiles on the xbox are live profiles anyway

It's a SATA hard drive, just like what's in your computer, except in a fancy case. I would send the drive to Micro$oft, since you never know if the SATA drive itself is the problem or not.

ya i guess ill send it to microsoft but i dont want to loose all my data
