Nice deal! I got my manager the same laptop, she kept asking what should she get, so I just told her to buy that one, she carries it everywhere now and says she loves vista more than 98 now. (She used windows 98 for all these years)
What are the other specs on it? For example, what kind of graphics card does it have? Can you use it for gaming? Does it have a built-in webcam? You know, those sort of things.
At the moment, all I have is a five-year-old piece o' junk Compaq desktop PC. It serves its (albeit limited) purpose, but I wouldn't mind getting myself a laptop. Don't really have the extra scratch for it right now, but hopefully soon...

Thats ok, my uncle is a PC expert and has built some amazing spec PC's and laptops custom, but for his own use, he uses dial up and a old toshiba satelite, the thing is like 20 pounds and 3 inches thick, it runs windows 95.
yea i did get those backward. I guess i was just so excited that i didnt notice. As for other features I wish it had the web cam but it does have a DVD burner.
Built in webcam/microphone in laptops are nice, actually the older laptops from 8-10 years ago had built in mic's on the side of the lcd screens, but no webcam, built in webcams didnt happen until 6-7 years ago when they shrunk them down, even then, it was very expensive and uncommon.
