How did you guys start learning 3DS Max? I have a book but it's not much of a help. Please don't tell me to "just play around in the program and you'll start getting the hang of things"
honestly that's how i learned max, just played around. but if your looking for indepth tutorials into using max and certain techniques try searching youtube for video tutorials or go to
http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorials/3DS-MAX/1 for a ton of max tuts from videos to written. i learned a lot there.
