Ballistic Armor

As of right now i have a halo 1 marine chest piece that is painted and plastered [no resin]. But the piece is too big for free movement and i cant place weapons on my shoulder. I was thinking that maybe i could glue some foil to a mold and then resin the foil. Would that work?

i dont know what your going to do with the foil but, Did you make it out of pep? Honestly, if you think its to big, just go do that chest plate with cardboard and just trim enough till you have enough room to move your arm... its only 4 peices and im sure you are capable of doing it

fo sho i can, but i was gonna see what strength properties the aliminum had over the cardboard

that cardboard will be tough enough after you fiberglass though

I believe that i have found the solution to these problems with the ballistic armor. I made my own pep version and put a cardboard spine down the middle of the chest and the back. I just need to resin and paint it and it'll be done. Progress pics up soon.
