Destiny 2 Crystocerene Titan Helmet

For the LED pattern, I measured the general outline of the visor. I then used that to make a basic visor outline to make the design in Fusion360.

I turned the sketch into a drawing so I wouldn't have any construction lines or center points. I took a screenshot of the drawing and cropped it to just the visor pattern.

I uploaded the image to a Google doc so I could properly size the image using the ruler on the side bar. Then I printed it out and tested the alignment. It's a perfect fit.

I cut out the visor sheet and taped it into the visor. Once I knew it was aligned how I wanted, I glued it in.

Then I opened up my electrical components that came in and tested them.

I found these LED strips were easiest to connect by pealing the bottom from the gell layer, then cutting the gell where it was covering the connection points.

I thought 1 batter was going to be enough, but it wasn't as bright as I wanted it.

To make the LEDs brighter, I connected all 4 batteries in parallel to increase the current and that did the trick!

I glued the batteries and lights in using what I call the Creality method. You just put hot glue on everything, even the wires.

It's hard to see with the lights on if it's too dark. With the LEDs off, the visibility is still good!
