Hello everyone, after my grif armor, and the extreme amounts of fun i had on a con with the armor (even if most people didnt know much about red vs blue) i decided to keep updated with a halo 4 armor
What i'm planning to do, is use mostly impact props' foam templates (which i still need to figure out how to assemble), probably master chief's shins and knees and a foam soldier chest i found here on the 405th file archive, for the helmet i'm very indecisive about wich helmet to make, i'm currently considering mk.V or the recruit helmet, if anyone knows of more foam helmets files, please let me know
Anyway, i went to a flea market (where i usually get my foam) i got some 6mm rolls and a 1/3 inch (more or less) foam roll, all for 200 pesos (About 15 US dollars)
Also, i've finally bought a heat gun for 555 pesos (about 40 US dollars) i gotta say, one of the best tools i've bought
For the start of the build, i've decided to make a DMR, i've tried to heat the knife with the heat gun and it makes cutting foam very easy
Also, i've decided to mark detail lines, cut them lightly with my x-acto and heated them so they would be more noticable, i also added some screws
Please tell me what you guys think, there's more to come soon!
