Heyy guys. So today, I am finishing my Jswift ODST helmet, and I am putting in my Link visor. I need to know how to cut off the flashing around the main visor. If anyone knows how to do this, please help.

1. Can I use an exacto knife?

2. Is the only method a dremel?

3. Can I use a scissor?(seams like it will make the visor crack.)

thanx everyone, please respond!

ya a dremel seems best because scissors would be hard to use to cut it and your exacto knife might slip and cut the wrong area.

It's plastic right? Melt it?

Use a lighter and singe the edges, Then use scizzors to cut off the burnt leftovers.

use a dremel with a diamond saw blade. its the safest route. same with regular motorcycle visors. it is what i plan on doing to mine today.

Personally, i'd stick to a dremel tool, but most motorcycle visors are made of a material called lexan. Lexan does not shatter when cut so scissors shouldn't damage =it, but no promises.
