My current excitement is around the stomp activate boot LEDs.
I have a really terrible tutorial here - LED Neopixel Boots (WIP) | Miss Boof Cosplay

Stomp activate LEDs are using circuit playground microcontrollers.
You will need 1 microcontontroller for each leg, and a powerbank that has two usb ports rated for 5V 3+A
