My First Weapon Creation

It took me a whole year to get it done because of a million other projects but it's pretty much complete. Thanks to the advice from many of you, especially RadMax117, I have finally (mostly) finished my first weapon. I have a weapons wall in my gaming room that I have some of my favorite gaming weapons on. I had purchased a premade at the KC Con and I just didn't like the look. I'd still like to slap some decals on it but I had fun and I'm mostly satisfied. I took a before an after + added my wall. I 3D printed a couple of pieces for it and added some embellishments. Thanks to all that answered my questions and provided advice. It has been quite the learning experience!

Very cool, I like the use of the quick release key chain to attach the charm. Will definitely use that idea on my rucksack.

Do it! It took me forever because I got stumped creatively a couple of times but it was a great learning experience. I've never worked with props like this before. I'll be on the look out for something else to redo at the next con, lol!

Yep. I just did a base primer in white and then another coat in black. After I primed, I used a latex paint because I liked the colors. Plus, it gave me layers for sanding a weathered look. Then I finished with some rub and buff.
