what is the best way to mount my odst armor? i want to be able to move fairly well in it...

Go to the Creation Discussion section, scroll down and look for a sticky called "Armor Strapping 101." Even though the tutorial is for a Mark VI armor, the same ideas apply to strapping on an ODST armor.

Beautiful - although a quick question (not sure if this was covered elsewhere). The strapping/buckles - is there a place to get this that doesn't include online shopping (would like to make a quick stop to lets say... Wall-Mart or Michael's) before Halo-ween.

Fabric stores like Jo-Ann Fabrics or Hancock Fabrics usually carry the nylon strapping material, they may also carry the buckles as well, I haven't checked yet. I got mine online and they came farely quickly.
