MA5C and M6D Weapons: WIP

So just to beat the boredom of building all these Peps, I decided to make some accessories, so with that I built the MA5C assault Rifle (author unknown) using a pretty easy file converted for "Letter Format" and sized some what correctly, Then I decided to make a pistol. The M6D by Quixand fit the bill, was a little bit confusing in some parts as there is a Magazine but the file is not designed so the mag is not insert-able. and the little piece on the end of the handle was not affixed. the "Bolt Carrier group" is a separate piece from the lower receiver which is cool but I think there will be problems with assembly after they have been resined because they are already a tight fit. Other than that they turned out pretty well, Now I have to figure out how I want to attach the pistol to the thigh and if I want to have spare mags and also where I would put them on my armor (most Likely on the COD/belt). The reason I chose to do the LD (Low Definition) files is because I like to add details using craft foam sheets (Foamies) that way I have a little more artistic freedom, and because I don't like to waste time or card stock, cutting out all the pieces by hand is a pain already

Looks very nice! how hard were the peps for the assult rifle compared to pepping the helmet for your MKVI?

Thanks, and this one was pretty easy actually, the hardest part was the ammo counter display in my opinion anyways, i rolled up pieces of cardstock and put them inside of the rifle to make it more ridgid and help prevent warping and it also uses some of my scrape cardstock I have laying about...I really wish I had the name of the Pep builder/unfolder so I could let everyone know which file I used but its in the "All-In-One" halo files download I think...I have so many I get confused now

could you share the download link for this pep? The one I'm building right now has no fore grips while yours does. Great job on the pep work, turned out great

the rifle is the MA5C and only consists of 40 pieces, a very simple set and only took me about five hours to complete from print to resin, I cut a hole in the butt stock about the size of a quarter and poured rondo inside to make it harder. I have not painted it as of yet.

The Pistol is the M6D only consisting of 90 pieces some of which I omitted because I like to add my own details with the "foamies" hope this helped

Thanks, coming from you that is a great compliment...I try to keep everything simple and on budget, its hard for this ol' retired soldier to keep up with all you talented young folks!!!
