Hello all! I just wanted to post up some quick pics of my Destiny Warlock/hunter/multi weapon build. I have to get 2 warlock suits and a hunter done by Dragoncon 2015. Hopefully I can do it. I figured posting this would get my butt in gear on the project : ) This is in the beginning stage so far. So there is a long road ahead .

The helmet:
My buddy Jacob (JTM1997) created the 3d model for me. It was3d printed by friend Jim McCrea.

Hello again! Here are some quick pics of the Gjallahorn progress. I know this is not 100% accurate. I actually don’t have a ton of time, so I’m making it quick and dirty…lol
I used 2 two foot pieces of PVC pipe for the base of the rocket launcher. 1 piece of pvc pipe was 3” and the other was 2”.

Thank you! Yes, I used Monster clay and some sculptex to create quick and dirty molds.

Thanks a lot LilTyrant, it means a lot coming from an expert such as yourself

I truly do appreciate the kind words. It's been pretty cold out so I haven't really done to much more. I've started some templates for the Warlock coat. I'm learning how to sew which scares me. We'll see how it turns out.

This might be an odd request, but does your buddy do commissions to do these 3D prints? If the money is right, I'd much rather start with a 3D print instead of a pepakura model.

Nice work! I'm trying to make my own Gjallarhorn.. but I don't know what kind of glue to use to attach the wood to the pvc to make it secure. What kind did you use? and what glue/adhesive did you use to attach the foam to the pvc??

As an FYI, the last post before yours was from April 2015. It looks like this build has been abandoned. The admins prefer you don't post to threads more than a few months old ("necroposting"). Check out the other forum sections for material how-tos, and post a new thread if you can't find what you're looking for. Good luck!
