    If I may advise something, it would be that you should maybe make the smg out of poster paper, or if you plan on continuing to make the smg out of cardboard, that you maybe cover the corrugation with poster paper/cardstock. By doing this, you would save time with the strengthening/sanding method...

    I think cool beans! Mod podge works fine, but plasti-dip works better. This is not just an opinion either, ive used both. Hope this helps! =D

    Piston ring is quite the big supplier of plasti-dip. You can find plasti-dip spray or regular in any piston ring location. Hope this helps... :)
