I Dont Know What To Say To Her

These threads seem a bit disturbing and stalkerish to me. She clearly does not want to date you. Absolutely nothing else is relevant. You don't even seem to be a close friend of her or to know her well. Leave the poor girl alone.

    help scale

If you can't get the method from the scaling sticky to work, try this: 1 - Take a ruler and measure your head. 2 - Print out an estimate of a couple of key pages (to save on paper and ink), just on normal printer paper. 3 - Cut out parts that will give you a good idea of overall size, hold...

    Where To Start A Project.

I like to start somewhere in the middle (preferably the top) and work my way out in all directions equally - helps me with keeping things symmetrical. Anything else and I find the sides are less even.

Have A Question? Dont Bother With A Thread

Hi all I've had a look around and a search but can't find what I need - apologies if it's somewhere obvious! I'm now at the bondo stage and though it's going okay, I'm a little bit lost/confused as to how things should look. Is there a video tutorial anywhere of bondo-ing/sanding/primering...

    Resining The Chest

I find that the "soak fiberglass in resin" method seems to use up a lot more than just painting the resin on, so if you're low on supplies that might be a factor for you.

I Need Tips On Pepping Helmets.

City, if you check out the video forum, crackhead09 has a great tutorial showing his pepping process - it might help to watch it (if you haven't already).

    Better Safe Than Dead.

If you cover up the filters, can you still breathe? This might be easier to check if you remove the filters first so you just have to cover the "sockets". If you can still breathe *at all* with them covered, you don't have a good seal. If you have a good seal and you can still smell the...

    Custom Mandalorian Armor

Hey Roxas, got any updates on the Mando? I'm planning on making some eventually, so it's cool to see your progress.

Wip - Star Wars Galaxies Composite Boots

Hey guys, here are some updates! I've fiberglassed/resined both "spats" and trimmed off the excess from them - next step there is to sand the edges and surfaces, the surface looks fairly good so I'm hoping I can avoid any awkwardness of bondo. Right now, the thin layer of fiberglass tissue...

    Using Resin On Foam Sheets

I put a thin layer of fiberglass tissue, with resin, on some foamie "spats" that are part of boots I'm doing. Final product seems slightly flexible and very very strong. Currently debating whether or not to bondo it (I don't want it to crack), but next time round I might just go with resin and...

    Custom Mandalorian Armor

Great work so far! Where did you get the pep file for the helmet?

What Pepakura Assembling Method Do You Use?

I cut them all, then score them all, then separate the parts into general area (eg back of head together), then glue.

    Using Resin On Foam Sheets

Great video Ithica, and great timing for me because I'm about to resin and fiberglass some foam. If the foam gets a good coat of paint first, do you think that will reduce warping substantially?

Wip - Star Wars Galaxies Composite Boots

Yeah, I just saw that video, good stuff. I think I'll maybe paint the foam first to try to seal it a bit and reduce warping/bowing, but it looks like there will be no eating. Good stuff!

Wip - Star Wars Galaxies Composite Boots

Hey guys, thought I'd share my current project with you. I used to be a hardcore Star Wars Galaxies player, but stopped when Sony changed the game with the NGE. I've recently found a project trying to emulate the original game engine, so that's got my interest up. For those of you who didn't...
