I have to say, the video clip is awesome. Seeing the costume in motion is 10x cooler than a picture. :D How hard is it for you to walk in those stilettos?
Yeah, with all the loops in the IOTV, it would definitely be easier to fit the armor onto you than a protective motorcycle jacket. I don't have the link on me at the moment but there is a nice jacket that is similar to the in-game under suit. It costs a pretty penny though.
XD The needler idea...
Won't that add a lot of unnecessary bulk, even without the plates? I feel big enough in my IOTV and I don't even have the arm attachments that you have. I'm also a size extra small!
I agree but I also feel that this would tremendously benefit those who want a much more durable armor for other...
As an Army gal, I'm totally interested your project. I highly doubt I'll be able to use your same process but kudos to you for making it real! I'm quite curious to see how much this will all weigh when it's done. Our new IBA's are okay but sometimes they feel like heavy duty, bullet proof...
The extreme height is enticing but the price... not so much. I can definitely go for these though: http://www.amazon.com/Undercover-Fox-Height-Lifting-Inserts/dp/B003N2SJFK/ref=pd_sim_hpc_1
I'm 5' 10" so the extra 2" would be fine and dandy without messing up my balance too much.
Yeah, I was looking at koshima07's thread with their unfinished but awesome Busa modification. I have the same problem as him with an old and slow laptop so creative it will be! (Or if they happen to get it done by the time I get back to the States, then yay.) I'm currently attempting for the...
Just wanted to say thank you so much for the modified MK VI armor for females! I can't wait to try them out for my own armor! Quick question though, would the Hayabusa chest permutation be able to fit on the HD female chest?
I hope you don't mean by kneeling. Even a mechanical body would wear down on the knee joints after progressive kneeling pick-ups of large objects. Perhaps another diagram showing the placement on the suit and the size would make it easier for others to understand?
I know of a Guild Wars community that makes Adobe E-Zines every month. They're REALLY good. http://www.guildmag.com/ If we can collaborate to create something similar to this, I think it could really show our potential and motivation to go hard-copy.
I like the blogs too but I feel they would be best used for tutorials and 'Con event notices rather than costume updates.
Captcha would be good and it's free. (Though personally even I can't read a couple of their weird words, lol.)
Thank you costumer99. Now if only I can find an actual picture of it on Google!
Actually, it doesn't. The pull harness that you use for the sled be done with one hand, leaving one to shoot. If you're creative, you can latch the harness to your pant belt with a D shape carabiner so you have...
-snicker- I keep thinking of that RvB scene where Grif is holding one of those over his crotch.
My husband was an Army medic and I'm sure he would want one of these for his Halo costume.
