yay it did! heres the finished product, totally forgot to post these last year. only a couple of pics left, because the rest featured the now ex-wife. Anyway, enjoy, and my war machine WIP will get up here somewhere soon!

have finished blue mkvi, but being a resident of atlanta I dont know whether I will have the stamina to wear it in the sun labor day weekend, its just unbelievably hot and humid here towards labor day.

what did you use for smoothing the helmet? I have never seen any bondo that color... is it foam in a can?

awesome, ty for the tip. I never would have even thought to look in the electricians stuff for it. any idea if it comes in different diameters and/or which diameter fits the helmets best?

ok, almost done with my MKVI set, and I realized there is one item I never found explained on elmet construction. What do people use for the vertical vents on the front of the helmet, the convex black ones that are about the same area as your cheeks?

WOW! Just WOW! they may be the single most extensive gathering of pep files I have ever seen! in two minutes I downloaded a collection that surpasses the one I already had, which took me months of searching to collect. If there was any one thing to keep new artists interested in pepakura instead...

I think they were all direct uploaded, guess I will need to re-upload them. yay more work. On a positive note, I have a small amount of finish work and then my handplates will be done, some smoothing work on the forearms and they will be paint ready, and things are moving along.

ok so I JUST noticed that all my pics are toast. Anyone who is more savvy with the forums than me gimme a hand, how do I get the pics back? also, started some serious work on the armor, gonna start turning out pieces in hopes of being finished for Halo-ween.

Im so pissed. I am not going to make it to Dragoncon. I wont have my costume done, and I am not walking around for 4 days just to stare at other people's costumes with a price tag of 100 dollars on the weekend. Hopefully I will finish by halloween, and maybe enter a couple of costume contests to...
