    Help!: Resin, Rondo, Bondo...?

So the general process to my knowledge is this: assemble all of the pepakura pieces, harden the shell with resin, add strips of fiber glass (use resin to glue it on) to the inside of the mask to make it even stronger, then carefully bondo the exterior of the mask for more strength to the...

How do you deal with small pepakura pieces?

There were a lot of intricate small pieces for the locus mask that im working on. It just takes patience. If you are daring, I would give super glue a shot. If you do one tab at a time, the super glue holds the pieces in place very well, which makes putting the other tabs in place easy. Super...

How do you deal with small pepakura pieces?

I used super glue. It actually worked out pretty good. You just have to be careful. Any mistakes, then you would have to pry the piece off and redo it

How do you deal with small pepakura pieces?

Is your problem that there are too many small pieces? or that cutting them out and placing them on is too difficult/ time consuming? I just finished my recon mask so hopefully I can help.

    Help!: Resin, Rondo, Bondo...?

depends. If you just want a helmet prop to keep on your desk, fiber glass and resin would do the trick. If you want actual armor that you will wear and go outside with, i'd also bondo it. Check this guy out, his videos go over everything. He is a legend:

Attaching pistol to thigh - magnets - how strong?

you should look up "rare earth magnets" on Amazon. They are small and powerful magnets with a degree of strength. some can break your hand if you put two on both sides ( i dont think you want them that strong :] ) and some are just powerful enough to fold a gun prop to your thigh without it...
