yeah I think your right, my friend suggested that to me so it made me wonder.., but now that I think of it chain mail would make lots of noise when moving it, and altair doesn't go "ching" when he walks. lol

hmm.. aluminum is hard to cut but not indent I guess, and I figured it might shrink the deeper it is but now that I remember, the aluminum I work with does kinda stretch when we bend it.

Should I soften it? because Aluminum is kinda hard... and since your method is kinda like engraving I probably need to cut a slightly larger piece right?

Well I would like to make an assassins creed vambrace out of metal I made one using the foam armor tut for halloween but I want to make real ones for say cosplay. I dont know how I would add details could someone help me? BTW here is the armored Vambrace made out of foam.... PS:can you tell...

@Crossfire: So.. On your helmet you used hot glue on inside then bondoed and sprayed liner on outside? would it work on other pieces of armor?

So, What exactly is the procedure? Glue\resin inside then spray outside with truck bed coating, then your done? If so this is excellent.

It's kinda too late, I just tried some things just before your post. The helmet is an epic fail so i'm going to either redo it or make a different helmet.

That's the problem it's already build so I may have to just cut the crown off and start there.

Is there a hayabusa helmet pep that has the helmet and crown separate? Is there a way to do this with the current peps out recently? I don't know much about 3d modeling programs or pepkaura designer so I kinda need help. P.S.: My recent hayabusa helm seems too big and may turn out an epic fail.
