ta guys. relatively new.
I normally work with card board, pep and bondo. ie the more solid type builds. I have only started experimenting with foam in the last year.
I really should get to more conventions - but as usual, its family constraints.
soz late reply. Hmmm.... I only build when I get bits of time between job and family. Took me a few weeks, could have been shorter without distractions though!
Nate
wasnt happy with the thighs, looked too short, so extended em. And built knees too
how my titan looks now
tried the textured trousers
not so sure, think I might head back to using black leather again
so..... no Titan is really good to go without a weapon
tried to find a Nerf I could mod - but nothing was close enough
so decided to scratch build.
Weapon scratch building really isnt my cup of tea, but needs must
I chose a shot gun as it look the most straight fwd to build
detailing...
cheers man
for the undersuit - I toyed with more foam glued onto a standard lycra suit
but I wanted the textured appearance - so want a a compromise - I considered too the Android Morph Suit or the Batman Dark Knight cycling lycra. I chose the later...
no worries - feel free to share
anyways.... moving on to shoulder parts
the white stuff is acrylic caulk again - great for smoothing out minor faults
the right shoulder attachment
on my shoulder
my secret?
I hide my mistakes :D lol heres an example - fore arm armour. 1st build was too small. So re-built it to a scale I preferred.
initially with the 1st build on my arm
2nd build
BUT, honestly - they way I do it is to transfer techniques from my 1:1 build. I am new to foam, but...
took a bit of trial and error - but the back is coming together
gap filling with acrylic caulk
helmet for scale
bad selfie - but you get the general scale on a person
