If you want, you could just get clear plastic sheets and use one way paint on them. Its cheap, you can make it fit really well, and you can make it look however you want.

This is really nice, I like the real bullets on the shoulder a lot. You do great with foam!

If your not looking for a fantasy weapon, then you don't need to pep it. You can get airsoft guns from $5-$10 dollars really easily, and the details would be much better then if you pepped it. Airsoft guns are the best for real life gun props.

This is amazing work! The helmet looks really really good, especially for a freehand with cardboard, I cant wait to see it finished. Also, very good choice with the LED placement. Good luck on the project.

Nice work, could use more detail though. Also, I never understood the point of making actual weapons, I understand making halo weapons cause those don't exist in real life, but you can get an airsoft gun that looks just like the real model, with even more detail. For really cheap online. Other...

You could try to sand down around the eye sockets, looks kind of rough around there. Other than that, looks very nice. I like the battle damage on it.

Nice work! And yes, most smooth cast products are way less toxic than fiberglass resin, even in their demonstration videos they are shown inside without a respirator. And you are correct by still wearing a respirator. Good luck on the project, cant wait to see it done.

It should be, just measure the height of your head and add a bit for space. Unless you want to be on point perfect fit, you can get a good/decent fit very easily.

Did you consider using a regular helmet instead? Like a biker helmet, but painted and a mic attached.

Looks kind of tight, but nice work. I dont think the tape is a good idea though, unless it is temporary.
