i was going for a worn out finished but i might redo it because im not completely happy with the paint job. let me know what you think of it.

Is it better to lay down one layer of fiberglass cloth and resin and let it dry to add another layer for strength or could you just lay down multiple cloth strips on top of each other while the resin is still wet?

Due to Irene, i had no power for 3 days but luckily i printed before I lost it. All I have been up to has been cutting out the pieces. I will have more pics up soon of the parts I have completed. Funny how the hurricane motivated me to get back to work after my long brake.

what would you recommend i scale the chest core too. Hugh has stated that it fits a 42 inch chest for a 6 foot tall person. im around 5,7 and on the slim side with a 38 inch chest. i was thinking maybe -10% would be good.

im assuming you used the files from hugh right? ok if so what i did was tape the sections together one at a time from the inside only. most people use clips, that works too. then once you form the helmet and the parts are all taped, i used my hot glue gun to glue the parts. i kinda separated...

for your first time using foam you did an outstanding job. Im looking around trying to find that foam but i cant find it anywhere.

What did you scale your chest core to? i was thinking about -10% for me and i was wondering what others are doing as well.

i love the chest core. i want to do mine out of foam too however i can never find it in the stores. anytips for how you did yours?
