please don't bother with vacuforming. For this kind of detail, it will turn out $#!T. Same reason I don't recommend airbrushing. Just pep and fiberglass or if you must, make moulds and clone with plastic or resin.

jpgs dont scale. vectors do, go pdf. id suggest dual booting into bootcamp, or paralells. or realise that macs suck and you need a pc :p

I just focus on the heigh cm sizer. Dont even bother with the scale numbers.

I refer to the Fraz's low def chest as a tester, there should be a link to his parts somewhere in this place. As for the zoomed out thing. ill clarify, Say the width is 30cm on the scaling coords.... I use my mouse wheel to get it to zoom in or out till I get as close to 30cm wide on screen...

yeah, Learn pepakura... Learn it, Love it. Or you are done for. If you find that, too complicated... your going to cry trying to build a set.
