i just had an idea for the detail pieces for the back of the helmet and under the lip at the front, i was going to resin them separate so when the rest of the helmet has been glassed i can just add a bit of resin then add them on to give the bumped look like the images below...

although i can't use resin (due to the fact this country is too cold) i use Jessmonite and had a similar idea for me handplates and just brushed a few layers of it on the outside and inside to make sure it kept its shape then made a really thick mixture and poured it in and now i have solid...

check out skullcandy's work with a new non toxic resin called aqua resin, but you'll need to seal the pep first so the hot glue would do for that on the inside cause the aqua resin is water based and will soak through the cardboard and also the hot glue could help prevent warping when using the...

all the parts you need are a camera and video output, you could strip a small portable tv and put that inside to helmet and the camera could be placed somewhere on the armour with ir leds for night use

i think the best thing to do would be to measure from your sholders to the bottom of your ribs then add a few cm to cover the parts on top of the shoulders which could be a reduction of 10% or possibly less on your size tester cause i don't think it's out by much
