Dor the pepakura helmet. How do you suggest we scale it? I've tried to build it twice and both times Ive Made ir too small to the point the neck hole can't go over my head. Should we be scaling the neck hole to our ear width plus 4-5 cm?

This will be my first attempt at a full foam costume build. I'm making the helmet currently out of carsdtock just to see if sizing is correct, and as backup if my 6mm foam final version is a dumpster fire. However I think I did it too small, but we will see.

And she's all done. The Satin Nickel unfortunately made the overall piece too bright for the silver to show for bare metal effects, but it worked real nice on the matte black grip

Weathered up. Just have to brush in some silver for bare metal exposure and we're basically done

Yup. I think I'll stick with mainly black weathering. Then try to figure how to oaint dry blood and add that to the magazine butt and across the muzzle (just a bit, nothing zombie weapon level lol)

Did matte black, I dig the contrast. Just gitta clear coat and weather, then reassemble

Applied a coat of satin nickel. It came out a lot more "sparkly" than I thought but I'm.hoping it'll flatten out while drying, and if not just do heavy weathering. Then I'll tape it off and do satin black for the handle and dart holder (if I don't like it I'll just do a matte black coat over it)

As long as I get the spring iside that top rail back into it's little slot on the removed slide (and I can with an exacto knife) it'll be back in working order

Ah as in like modifications to the internals to shoot better and whatnot? I didn't personally do that, except removing that top slide portion. There are videos online to mod the vuts though and it seems relatively simple
