Well I designed a "display" in a program and printed it off on clear vellum paper. I glued it to a piece of clear plastic. It has 4 led as a back light. [/URL][/IMG]

Well complete for now. I am going to a local convention tomorrow, so I did not have time to finish my commando helmet. I only like a few things completing it. The helmet, butt pouch, some chest pouches and a battle rifle. [/URL][/IMG]

I have a few questions. How is everyone attaching the knife to their armor? [/URL][/IMG] Also how does everyone feel about the Mark VI helmet in the Reach paint scheme?? I have a local convention to attend on Saturday So I did not have time to finish the commando helmet. [/URL][/IMG]

Ok Update.. Everything is now painted. I only like to add a few washes on it and silver accents. As you can tell I am still working on the helmet. After everything is fully painted I still have to add strapping and the lights. [/URL][/IMG]

Its been a long time..! I have had some time off from work so I had time to pick up an old project. I'm am so glad I did!! So far this has been a blast!! I am very happy with it so far! Here a few wip picks. The second pick has a "Pasted" helmet on it. This will be the helmet i am making...

Thanks! The paint job came out better than I hoped! Where is the rest? LOL Well.. have to buy more foam first! I think i will make a "Carter" but mine will be red. I have not seen one red yet, besides im that crazy about blue. I do have the helmet made and one coat of resin on it.

Thanks everyone!! She had a blast on her first outing!! I still have things to do. She wants lights and painting details done. while making hers I put together me some forearms. What so you guys think about them?

Why thank you! And she said thank you also! She was very happy with her suit! One thing I found out on the foam, make sure your blade is always sharp!! I used the one where the blades break off. You can buy them cheap! Watch your angles on how you hold the knife when cutting too.

@ TK-3350 - LOL I will let her know! And thanks! @ Jason-078 - The color came out better than what I thought @Tzahalon - Yes I liked working with the foam! Its fairly easy. The hard part was figuring out of a few of the pieces went together More Photos I Had to do this!!

Thanks everyone!! The time crunch has really been rough! All I like is a black wash, fitting the visor and I am done!! Whew! Here is the chest and helmet. I already had this helmet made so i just used it (to save time). She still wants Kat's helmet.
