40K Astartes Iron Hands Build

Hello all,

Last year’s big project was Fallout armor, and this year I’m choosing 40K.

Several months ago I started 3D modeling Mark X Tacticus armor from scratch using Nomad Sculpt for iPad. I’ve since begun 3D printing the models, and sanding, painting, and rigging it all. This first post is going to begin where my current progress is at, which is having nearly the entire top half done and being rigged throughout this week. The legs are presently printing. Please feel free to ask any questions about rigging, modeling, weathering, or how it feels to be one of seven fans of the 10th Legion

Le gros projet de l'année dernière était l'armure Fallout, et cette année, je choisis 40K.

Il y a quelques mois, j'ai commencé la modélisation 3D de l'armure Mark X Tacticus de A à Z avec Nomad Sculpt pour iPad. Depuis, j'ai commencé l'impression 3D, le ponçage, la peinture et le rigging. Ce premier article va commencer par mon avancement actuel : la quasi-totalité de la partie supérieure est terminée et le rigging est en cours cette semaine. Les jambes sont en cours d'impression. N'hésitez pas à poser vos questions sur le rigging, la modélisation, le vieillissement ou à partager votre ressenti en tant que sept fans de la 10e Légion.
