This Week ive seen some of this little Balls with Colorchanging LEDs for about 3,50USD, also buyed one. They appear to have the correct Size of an Nade.
The Colors are nice, but never seen a Plasma Nade with a Red or Green Color, Blue is also in there, but the Colors switch every Second, not good.
The Problem is that the Colors are controlled by a very little IC and you can not change it to Blue only without solder an SMD Resistor on it, the Power is supplied by 3x LR44 Batteries.
Each Battery contains 1,5V, in the End 4,5V.
Well, thats interessting....not. Thats easy. The Problem: The integrated LEDs are bright, but not so bright like i want it or a Plasma Nade it is.
In that Case i modify this Ball next Week with a very bright LED with about 15.000mcd, thats done in 5min and costs not more than 1-2USD. (I would do it right now, but my LEDs are all gone *gg*)
