Apparantly, a suppliment of vitamen A is going to help him by leaps and bounds as hes not able to produce enough, therefore his body cannot fight the wart.
 
I think the spore gets caught in some skin wouind or opening, then starts growing, and well...grows in you....thats freaky.
 
It's actually HPV (human papilloma virus) and his body lacked the ability to produce the vitamins which keep the infection in check. His skin cells, lacking these key defenses, were essentially 'hijacked' by the virus and resulted in these large cutaneous growths.
