A Spartan's Helmet Has A?

As you guys might know, I have been working on my L E Helmet to make it wearable, comfortable, and functional. Which is difficult for me, but in time im sure it will be done. Now to my question, does a Spartan's helmet also have a gas mask?

In the books, the spartans are abe to go into space with just their armor. This would mean that they would have their own oxygen system.

The Mjolnir is capable of up to fifteen minutes in vacuum without problems. However it has to draw air from it's surroundings when in an oxygenated environment, otherwise how would the Spartan breathe after fifteen minutes where there was oxygen? In other words, the Mjolnir has it's own oxygen system yes, but it also has to be able to take in air as well. To this end, it will likely have an inbuilt filtration system to ensure only unpolluted air gets through. So in a sense it would have a highly advanced gas mask, but it would just be considered part of the air filtration system instead of the gas mask.

Um, actually it's 90 minutes, while the ODST suit take for only 7 minutes.

well, nobody's gonna make that in there suit anyways

The suit is pretty freaking advanced so I imagine the respiration system would be just as fancy. I went to an oxygen bar once; $10 for 15 minutes of 90% pure oxygen. Soooo good.

Pure oxygen is not good for you long-term, but you need it for spacesuits for physiological reasons. I'm sure all the Mjolnir variants are equipped to deal with chemical, biological, and radiological environments.

actually, the oxygen tanks in scuba diving and high alttitude hiking are just air.

And yes the MJOLNIR has NBC protection all right.
we could all find it in the Halopedia.
