Affordable Mannequins?

I'm already up to $770 for my armor, I need an affordable Mannequin. I tried going to big clothing stores, but they don't sell broken mannequins for us small people :tear:

Anyway, Does anyone have any suggestions/ links worth looking at?
I appreciate it. I don't care what color it is, or if it's headless or not. I'd prefer headless, actually.

I got one for $200 AU from Ebay, I would imagine they would be even cheaper in America. There also a method of using tape and fibreglass? (Correct me if I’m wrong here) to make a mold of yourself, it’s been posted about before.

i would find the best way to make a life cast of yourself done may cost a $#!Tton but good for other things after you finish the armopr

i had to make a packing tape sculpture of myself for art class, and yea you do need another person to help you with some parts like the torso, or arms, but its pretty easy, strong depending upon how much tape is used, and cheap considering all you have to pay for is like 8 rolls of tape. and you know its your size, cause its a mold of you. thats probably what im going to use for my manequin.

If you want to do Fiberglass, be prepared IT SUCKS!

I have helped friends create Molds of their own body, they complain because you have to stand for about an hour in the same position, having difficulty to breath the entire time. Although the outcome is fantastic.

yea ture it sucks being the model (i speak from experience) but in the end its worth it, and you can do it in sections if you do the packing tape method, which makes it better.

Just fill the packing tape with expandable foam.

-Cheap Clothing (Pants and Sweater)
-Lots of Stuffing/Cotton/Foam/Paper ect.

Its cheap and effective from my understanding

Yep you need someone to help you... i learned that the hard, and painful way.
