Airsoft Gun Vs. Fiberglass

Hey, even though I don't airsoft much I bought a mask and I REALLY hate wearing it, so as a project, what if i made a helmet of any kind just to airsoft with(if it is a helmet that's meant to have a visor, i'll probably replace it with airsoft goggles)

good idea or not?

p.s i will OBVIOUSLY fiberglass it

Well what kind of helmet though? If it was like those military ones where its a rounded top and you can use goggles for your eyes, then i'd suggest you buy that instead of making it from scratch.
