Has anyone tried integrating Amazon's Alexa into a helmet? I realize that this would like take some questnable Jerry rigging, but it is a thought. She could be the irl Cortana.

I thought about that for a minute. I think the hardest part would be powering it for a long period of time and the fact that it requires wifi. I mean, hotspot to a phone might work. probs wouldn't be too hard to do tho if you have some experience and a bunch of money.

I'm thinking have the actual Alexa (echo, dot, whatever) in a backpack or on your harness, with a mini Bluetooth speaker and mic in the helmet. Or dig into the hardware and hook it all up (mic speaker etc.) Directly into the helmet. For power, just either use a battery (like hotwire a battery receptor into the power supply) or something of the like. I've also though about setting up a walkietalky that's hardwired into the helmet, and a mic that can be turned on and off hooked up to an exterior speaker so people can actually hear me.
Why not get a cheap windows phone and a Bluetooth headset / ear piece. That seams the easiest solution. No wiring or jerry rigging. You will even have Cortana talking to you since she is the built in assistant.

I mean yeah but then it's not integrated into the helmet. I was thinking more like rip the wiring out of a Google home or whatever and attach it inside the helmet. Splice the cord to run it to a USB charging bank and have an in-helmet AI to chat with and play music for you. Connect it to a hotspot on your phone and have full functionality. Although I don't know if you can connect smart home devices to a hotspot...
Also can you still get windows phones? I thought they stopped making them.
