Armor kit bashing

Hello! Sorry if this already exists elsewhere in the fourm. I'm currently working on a mk7 suit. I'm going to be putting some interesting tech in it that I'll post at a later date, and I was wondering if it would be in poor taste to take elements from the mk5b to the mk7. Specifically the energy shield light emitters and the tacpad. Those are the only two things I don't like about the mk7 and really want to add them.

I understand rule of cool, do what I think is awesome but id just like others opinions

If you can think it, you can do it! We love seeing what our members can create, so go for it! I think adding shield emitters would give some very interesting lighting to the mk7.

My armor contains several generations of armor
Helmet: mk IV (FUD in image)
Torso: MK VI G1
Shoulders: Base MK VI G3, ODST outer, and H4 Scout
Forearms: Custom MK Vb reach variants
Codpiece: MK VI G1 front, MK VI G3 back
Thighs: MK VI G3
Shins: MK IV
Boots: MK VI G3
Hand plates: FUD
