Assualt Rifle Project

Ok, well what do you guys think on me working on an Assualt Rifle? First im gonna start with a thick foam board and draw the blue prints and details with a sharpie, then im going to use a utility knife to cut out the figure, then re-trace it on wood... then cut it out then spray paint it... its a start right?

I have the Assault Rifle drawn out, now about to cut it out, then re trace on wood, then have it made.. should be done by Friday or Saturday.. Will have pics up soon...

I'm not entirely sure about the wood... Most things I've seen that are made out of wood end up extremely boxy and untextured. I recommend you just cut out the necessary pieces out of foam board or card board, assemble them, then mache or fiberglass it.

i would use balsa wood its ez to carve and sand

Yeah thats what I would have used, I also have a sander that rounds corners so it would look pretty precise...
