Use some type of a padding for the helmet, you can use foam for the armor padding, wich will help the costume stay on, but you will also need some sort of strapping to hold certain parts of your armor on.

to add to Cpt. Obvious' statement above.

If you dont have any "hard points" to attach the armor to, I would recommend creating a sort of under harness.
Nylon straps and quick buckles are cheap and affordable. I have read a few of the stickies and they tend to not cover the subject super well, fortunately I have experience in armor hanging.

I myself use the Hardpoint method of mounting, but my wife uses a underharness ( that way she can just wear a Underarmor suit and not be all bulked out by Impact gear, dont ask its a girlie thing with her.) I will shoot some pictures when I get back home on friday and PM them to you.

its hard to describe.

Lets start with a medevil hard point. In its most basic form a hard point is literally a rigid material that is fused onto a softer material, for medevil time this was a padded garmet called a gamboson that hard hardened pieces of leather sewn in at the joint locations and at intravals along the padded suit. The leather peices in turn had thong hanging from them in which you used to tie up the armor
Examples below

Now using this technology, we can extrapolate and make a system more modern and suited to our purposes as we don our Mjolnir. With the aid of impact suits with built in hard points, it takes little to no effort to hard rivet nylon strapping with parachute buckles in strategic locations to ensure the armor stays where its supposed to and avoids placing all its weight in one location. ( ie the weight is distributed over larger portions of the body thus more comfortable to wear and move in) and has the added bonus of making the armor more flexible and user friendly since it is not being restricted by a bunch of interconnecting straps.

Addtionally once we start making those kick butt undersuits we can plan our hard points on it and then super tight.

When I get home I will take some pictures, draw circles and list supplies and where to commonly get them.
