I'm pretty sure it's silicone altered with a diy, or then it's silicone wich happens to be that color.

if you rotate that photo 45 degrees clockwise, the flip it horizontally... and convert the photo to black and white... maybe you might see it....

I only Make MK VI helmets and working on my Recon, so thats definitely not right.
