Stealth Rocketeer.
So, My MKV is not going to be even close to ready before halloween. I'm ok with that because I didn't expect it to be. I sure did hope though. :angry
So, I got to thinking, I'm a Month or so before halloween and I could just do this thing that's been klunking around in my head for a while. Ah heck, I'll just Pep it and find out. So....I did.
Where is the Fin you may ask? Well, I'm going a bit different with the whole helmet. It's a Practice run for my Paint scheme for my MKV so the Fin has a Few LED Highlights that I had to work on. It envolves alot of Hot Glue. I mean, It wieghts alot now. Which is ok though. Unfortunately, I can't take Any pictures with the LED's Lit up. I'm kind of holding that back for the finished product. (That and You can see the LED's through the Paper right now. It doesn't look that impressive) But It will work and it will be Spectacular.
So, This isn't a Halo Suit, I know. This has always been a Helmet I've wanted though and I figure I'll hone in my Bondo-ing and Sanding and Fiberglassing Skills on this so that I can really make a Good MKV for next year. I finally have started working agian so I hope this will go past the Pep stage. I almost bought some fiberglass resin and matt but figured I'd pay rent first. Let me know what you guys think.
Oh yea, A crude "Painting" of my Color Scheme for the Helmet. The Grey is either going to actually be gray or a Faded/Chipped Chrome. I'm not sure yet.
I may try and get a Jet pack done too. Maybe not. I have a Motorcycle jacket with built in "Abs" and it looks pretty superheroish already. If it comes down to it I'll just tell people I have the Jet pack hidden in a Laundry room some where.
