Bo Katan Cosplay

Hello!
I wanted to share my live action Bo Katan cosplay from the Mandalorian. I actually made this entire cosplay twice but I'll start by sharing the first iteration.
The armor was all foam, minus the gauntlets which were a resin kit I purchased on Etsy. The flight suit was from cossky and the wig was from arda. I can't believe it's already been 4 years since I made this haha.
I have a highlight on Instagram for both versions of this costume with tons of progress photos if anyone is interested!

This time I made the flight suit myself, 3D printed the armor, and painted it using the costume I was fortunate enough to get to see up close as reference

Did you make the pattern for the flightsuit yourself, or did you find it somewhere?
Also, did you make the belt, pouches, and holsters?? I really want to try leatherwork, but it's so intimidating

the pattern for the flight suit and gaiters are from sionnach studios
the first belt I made using a pattern from brassroots leather out of vinyl, the second one is from delta leatherworks.

I was already doing so much work with all the sewing and armor that I didn't have the energy to learn leatherworking too but I'm sure there's lots of good tutorials out there if you decide to give it a shot!

That's fair! There's just so many tools involved. Maybe someday when I can afford a heavy duty sewing machine and don't have to fuss with punching holes and hand sewing it....

oh for the leather details on the flight suit yes, you'll want a heavy duty sewing machine to sew through it + the layer of batting
for the belt, pouches and holsters they're stitched by hand, which is why I bought mine haha
