Booth:
The folks at Bruce County Comicon were delighted to have us out to this event last year to showcase out props and costumes. With a very positive report of our presence last year they've invited us out again! Just like last year they will give us space for a backdrop, prop displays, table, and photo area. We are confirmed for a space of at least 20'x10' with an offer to have more space if we want.

Last year they provided a secure changing area to store and stage our costumes, and they even catered some lunch for us! Here's a tentative booth layout for us:

I will bring the backdrop, table cloths, signage, flags and flagpole, prop rocks, business cards, and the prop rack. I'll need you guys to bring your best helmets and props to display as well as your suits of armour to interact with attendees in.

Final Thoughts:
I'll be making the drive up from Windsor to put on the booth. I'd love for some other folks to come with! I hope we can introduce Halo cosplay to the folks in Bruce County and expand our regiment just like we did last year! I hope to see folks willing to help set up the booth and show off their awesome cosplays and props for the day.

Our ultimate goal with convention booths is to show the public the awesome things they are able to achieve with the help of the 405th. Initially they are drawn to our booth because of the super awesome props and costumes you have created, and from there we can encourage them to check out the forums, get a-craftin', and build their own character. If encouraging folks to discover the joy we've found in making costumes and props is something you'd like to do, then please consider coming out to this event.

Reach out to me if you have any questions/concerns about this event at all! I'd be happy to answer them as best I can.
