Gonna make a graphic for the first pic of the carousel too. It's gonna be nice. I might add some of you as a collaborator as well to increase it's reach.

Question about doing a photoshoot:

Hey another question for you guys, regarding a photoshoot. We could hire DeltaRiley to take some nice photos for us! If we don't want to leave anyone behind to man the booth we'd have to the the photoshoot outside of con hours, the most convenient time being thursday at noon. But of course, most people are not there on thursday.

We could instead do the photoshoot on saturday mid-day to accommodate more people, but myself and perhaps 1 or two others would have to be left out to man the booth. I've been in so many photoshoots and won't mind missing this one, but what are your guys' thoughts? Thursday outside of con hours, or saturday during con hours? Consider crowd crowd control too.

As for location, there's a nice park right on top on the convention centre south building, called roundhouse park. There's a nice looking industrial water tower, a field with the toronto skyline in the background, a view of the CN tower, as well as a wooded area. Good for a couple group shots as well as individual portraits.

As for the days, it doesn't matter with me but Thurs there is only going to be 6 of us and Sat is going to be busy in the con and also there happens to be a Jays game at 3pm so the park is going to be busy in the afternoon. It looks like Thurs is the better day but is Fri during the con an option? I think most of us will be there on that day. I still think Sat is doable as well.

By the way, last time I spoke to deltaRiley, the fee would be $80 for an hour. Should be more than enough time to get the photos we need, hoping that if we decide to do a photoshoot we wouldn't mind splitting the cost. Would wind up being less than $7 a person

Plan on doing a photoshoot Saturday Morning at 8:00am (edit: or maybe 9:00, stay tuned). This is the best time to do it because we have the most people there on Saturday, and doing it before the con starts means we don't have to leave anyone behind to man the booth while we do the shoot. This isn't set in stone yet, but unless there are a bunch of objections then I think this is the best time to do it.

The meeting place is the water tower at roundhouse park. I'm hoping to get some similar photos to what we got two years ago, but including those new members with us this time around. See these photos for reference/inspiration! We probably wont be able to get them edited like these ones, but regular ol' professional photos will still be super rad!

Do we want to make a reservation at a place perhaps saturday night? We've gone to the Amsterdam Brewhouse in the past. They've got a good selection of yummy food that's reasonably priced, good selection of alcoholic beverages for those who drink, and they usually accommodate a large group. How does 8:00pm sound for dinner?

An early shoot is a good idea. It's a good way to beat the heat considering how hot the weather has been.
Getting down to Roundhouse Park on time might be a bit of a problem for me. Aaden and I have to take public transit and the GO train. That would mean a 6am wake up time.

Early photoshoot is good to avoid crowds and heat but it takes me an hour and a half to do my makeup for Cortana and about an hour to drive there. I don't think I'll be alive if I wake up at 5am haha
If 8am works for everyone else though I can cosplay on Sunday instead

Reservations for dinner isn't a bad idea.
