Brisingr, the third book in the Inheritance series (originally supposed to be a trilogy, but the last book was so long it had to be split into two.) came out today. I got it last night at Borders, I was one of four people to get the book at midnight, and two of others were with me. >.> So it apparently wasn't that popular. I did get a CD, and a pretty cool bookmark. Thanks to being a member at the book store, I only payed $17 for the hardback.

For those of you that are have no idea what the Inheritance series is, or even know how to pronounce Brisingr: This is the second book to come after Eragon, Eldest was number two. The Eragon movie sucked, at least when you read the book. :rolleyes

Anyhu, did anyone else get it? Plan to get it? Read the other books?
 
Oh god, the movie was horrible.

Anyways, me, being the cheap asian that I am, simply went up to the bookstore and read it... got to page 525 before I had to go, so I think I'll continue at a later date. It's really good so far, I like the series... although the first 100 pages of the first book were boring as hell and I almost just stopped there.
 
i love the eragon series. and im glad you posted this! now i know to go and buy the last book. oh, and i couldnt even finish the movie i was so horrible. it actually made me mad haha. eldest was better than eragon, at least to me anyway. cant wait to get the last one! :D
 
So far, so good. I've read about 300 pages in the last two days. o_O I think that's more reading than I did all of last year. lol

The movie wasn't good, I complained through the whole thing.
 
Movie: SUCKS (although Saphira looks AMAZING (IF she didn't have feather like scales on her wings))

Books: Destroy movie

And I've been waiting what three years now...or Four? I don't remember but I was waiting for the last book before I moved and I moved almost three years ago now. So OMGOMGOMG FINALLY!

LOL and the funny thing is that I've been readying the second book since last Thursday during my boring classes at school cause I hadn't read it in a while. :D
