hmmm even though this thread is "postponed" i still feel the need to comment.
now i wont lie, when i first started reading through this thread (i should be working on a paper due tomorrow... but i feel being up to date on the 405th is more important haha)i didn't have very much confidence in what i was going to see in the "endish" results pictures. and after seeing a couple of the first pictures i was a little worried. BUT after going through all 4 pages, and seeing the work you did on your torso, i gotta say, i'm kinda liking the whole concept you have going here. its creative, and looks like you are having fun with a first attempt at something that is not easy (building armour of any type) so supper props to yeah man.
and as mentioned in one of the above posts, with all the mods made to the armours you are splicing together, it really dose loose a lot of the halo'ness... but why not just go with that, use the halo armours to make your own creation, and why stop there ? you could make your own back story to the whole thing. they call it fantasy armour for a reason

sides, building anything in pepakura, be it the actual halo armour or something of your own creation, is still valuable practice right ?
anyhoo, back to paper writing for me, and good luck on your build ! should be interesting to see how it turns out
O.T.
P.S. oh yeah, almost forgot, a little tip, try to avoid double and triple posting (even in your own threads....) the mods don't like it... so if you want to add a response to someone or forget to add something to your post, just click the "edit" option at the bottom of your post, and it will bring you back to the comment screen that will let you add or remove things from the first post... in fact i had to use the button to add this tip

haha
though, if you are updating with pictures... i usually still double post if nobody has commented sense my last entry lol
