It's very symbolic. Serj Tankian is a very, very smart man. He crafted the videos and songs to display his opinions by using very important things to us humans-children.
His message is:
War, government, etc, is similar to child's play.

not quite but u almost got it im a heuge fan of system and saw the Fuse interview with him

the empty walls video yes is very symbolic with everything going on in the Middle east if i memberd correctly his words were,
its awkward to see that even childs play can resemble something so shocking as war even if its just innocent childs play.

i do agree though Serj is a very VERy smart man
