where might one find the weapons, guns rule for CGC? need to figure out hot to color my shotgun for it.

As of right now this the only thing about props I could find on the website. The FAQ has a section for what are the rules around cosplay and props but it just says full details and rules will be posted at this point.

We're generally granted more leeway because of having a booth, but you may be asked to not bring something in or that it must stay at the booth.

It's looking like we aren't getting hotel rooms from CGC this year. The economy is hitting us all it would seem.

On that note, people are welcome to stay at my house to save money on hotels. It is 30m away from the convention though. I also can't promise I can carpool since I have a lot to transport.

Do we have anyone that's planning on bringing a cosplay repair kit with them? im unsure if i will have space (i will have to do a dry run of car packing) but im curious if anyone else it. wife and i plan on bringing some supplies but will have to look into what we are aloud to take in.

Multiple people usually always bring repair kits that they'rehappy to share. Rubber City Cosplay near us also does repairs.

I have a battery powered glue gun and other stuff like a hot wand with metal reeforcements, PLA and other stuff.

As a newcomer to the CGC event, what is the preview party? Is that something we are getting suited up for?

Wayward Flood I can swing by with my SUV on Friday if you need additional room for hauling stuff if needed.

The Preview Night is a good time to come play games and meetup without the Vender / Exhibit hall open or the crowd of the weekend. Last year quite a few of us suited up, took some pictures, and even played games in armor. It's basically what the con is like Saturday evening without the crowd around on the games.

Do you have an exhibitor badge? Unfortunately as of now only (6) Exhibitor passes were given with the booth. I believe the general time the majority of us will arrive is noon Friday.

Late notice but I am confirming boots on ground for all days, I'm late for exhibitor pass purchase due to not reading the forum, so I'll be purchasing a multi day pass

They gave us 14 exhibitor badges now. They told us 6 before today. We will have enough for about everybody

So they will start checking for parking passes around 5 today. The IX center doesn't communicate that well with CGC so it can be around 5

$28 for the event. You get them to the booth to the right in the exhibitors entrance
