Community TRUNK OR TREAT Event (Oct. 31st)

Description: We’ve been invited to participate in an annual Community Trunk or Treat by HEB. It’s a fun, family-friendly event where we’ll suit up, set up a small 405th display out of a trunk and hand out candy. H-E-B will provide candy, snacks, and water, but we can bring our own props (covenant weapons are welcome but please stay away from “UNSC guns”), decorations, or swag to make our setup stand out.
Last year’s event had nearly 1,700 attendees, so it’s a great chance to represent the 405th, meet fans, and make the kids’ night extra special.
If you’d prefer not to wear your armor and would like to wear another costume you’re excited about, go for it! The idea is that this is a nice chance for us to meet up and have fun. When selecting your costume, just be mindful that this is a family event and to select a costume that isn’t to frightening as the event will have a sensory-friendly hour from 4pm-5pm.
It will be out in the parking lot of the H-E-B BBQ side entrance.
Date: Halloween, October 31, 2025
Time: 4:00–6:30 PM (setup starts at 3:00 PM), First hour (4–5 PM): Sensory-friendly for kids (limited noise and lighting)
Location: H-E-B Frisco 2 899 University Dr, Frisco, TX 75033 Parking lot (on the BBQ side)
Final Thoughts:
Changing areas: There will be restrooms to change into on the first floor: 2 family restrooms (7ft x 11ft), three stalls in the men’s restroom, 5 stalls in the women’s, and 2 more family restrooms (7ft x 11ft) on the 2nd floor (elevator is available).
Storage: we will have a locked area for totes (12ft x 12ft) by the pharmacy and also an unlocked area in a conference room on the 2nd floor (elevator is available) with a space that is 32ft by 20ft.
Food/ Snacks: Water bottles, fruits like apples, bananas, granola bars, Danish’s…etc will be provided.
Trunk/“Booth”: If one of our volunteers would like to offer to use their vehicle so that we can keep the candy in it and set up around it, that would be perfect- (please reach out to Cosmic Kai to notify him), if not we will set up a table. We can bring our own decorations, or swag to make our setup stand out (think UNSC flags… etc)
